How do users configure their own line keys via the CallSwitch One App

Users utilizing both the Yay.com Application and a desk phone can add or modify their desk phone line keys by accessing the settings cog within the Yay.com App and selecting Line Key Configuration.

In this section of the application, users can add, edit, or delete BLF, Speed Dial and Short Code keys.

To add a BLF or Speed Dial Key, users can select the key type from the drop down menu, then input the Label (name of the key) and the Value (extension number, mobile or landline number).

Users can also Delete or Edit these keys at any time. 

If Users selects the Edit option, another box will appear allowing the user to choose from three options of Key types: Contact, Short Code or Custom.

The Contact Tab will list all the Yay.com Users in the company, so the User can select a colleague from the list to create a BLF key for that User. 

The Short Code Tab will list all the Short Codes that have been configured by the administrator, for the User to select any of the commands with ease.

The Custom Tab will give the User the option to add Custom BLF or Speed Dial Keys.

1. Firstly select the Key Type using the drop down.

2. Then type the Label (name of the key) followed by the Value (extension, short code or external number).

3. Once added click the Submit button at the bottom of the page. 

4. Then Click the Save Configuration button to save the keys added. 

5. The Keys will then automatically appear on the Users deskphone. 

6. They can always revert back to the original key layout at any time by clicking Revert Changes.
